Dr. Shaun Whitney- Crown Lengthening #7/8
History of chronic inflammation #7/8 leading to unacceptable esthetics for patient. Surgery was somewhat exploratory with the idea that there was a possible biologic width infringement with current restorations. Upon examination, there wasn't much crown lengthening that was actually needed. A small horizontal fracture was noted on facial of #8, which was recontoured prior to suturing. It was proposed that this fracture may have contributed to inflammation.
