Dr. Katie Martin- Removal/grafting of failed implant
- Tooth #6 is non-vital. When implant was removed, note thread marks on root surface of this tooth. Cause for lost vitality is probably iatrogenic to the implant placement several years ago.
- After graft was placed, a long-term resorbable membrane was placed over buccal defect. This was then covered a second time with a non-resorbable cytoplast membrane.
- Essex tray was given at the time of implant removal. This tray was made ahead of time by a dental lab. A new tray can be fabricated in office for better esthetics during healing.
