Pre-op: This patient has been a study club patient for a long time. Originally, a free gingival graft was done to gain keratinized tissue. Following that, the newly-gained tissue was coronally repositioned to gain root coverage. Outcomes were ideal, and the years passed by in relative tranquility. But then, at a recent recall appointment, a small gingival cleft was seen to disrupt the balance:
