There was quite a bit of discussion around this case, with the majority opinion being to leave the implants and perhaps attempt GBR around them, knowing that they will likely continue to be less than ideal and may end up coming out anyway. There were significant dissenting opinions as well, opting to remove the implants and graft the ridge in preparation for new ones in 6 months- though it was acknowledge that this graft would be technical and maybe not yield the best results, in which case you are a little bit out of options.
